Fueled by a mouth that never stops running and arrogance as scorching as the shock of red hair on his head, Heath Slater certainly lives up to his self-imposed moniker, The One-Man Band.Hailing from West Virginia, Slater first exploded onto the WWE scene as a rookie on WWE NXTs inaugural season. Right out of the gate, Slater made an impact becoming the first-ever NXT Rookie to defeat a WWE Pro in a singles match. From there, he joined Wade Barrett in The Nexus in their hostile takeover of WWE. After CM Punk staged acoup and emerged as the new leader of The Nexus, Slater walked away from the group and helped form the splinter faction, The Corre. Just as The Nexus had on Raw, The Corre went on a mission of domination on SmackDown.Slater was a key member of the collective and won the WWE Tag Team Championship with Justin Gabriel. But when The Corre came up short in their match at At WrestleMania XXVII, the group dissolved shortly thereafter.Following the crumbling of The Corre, Slater rocked forth, trying to make an impact as a singles star. The only thing standing in his way? A long line of WWE Legends, including Vader, Diamond Dallas Page and Bob Backlund, who put a damper on Heaths good time en route to Raws historic 1,000th episode. As The One-Man Band attempted to recover from devastating losses to a host of Legends, Slater formed 3MB, a band of other underachievers including Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre. They faced off with WWEs tag team ranks in pairs while the third member played a dastardly backup solo at ringside. In summer 2014, Slater briefly became a solo act once more, and even shocked the entire WWE Universe when he defeated Seth Rollins on Raw in a massive upset. He then joined up with Titus ONeil to form Slater-Gator, one of the most unique tag team combinations ever assembled in WWE.Slater then entered the second annual Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the WrestleMania 31 Kickoff Show, only to be eliminated by Ryback. Most recently, Slater teamed with Adam Rose in a losing effort to "Macho Mandow" &#AxelMania on the May 21 edition of SmackDown.
